poor

in this age the word poor can be described more by the actions of the government than by the people who actually are poor. people who would have been wealthy through hard work have been drained by taxes to the point where they are defined as "poor". how can the government take all this money from those who work just to "help" those who dont work, who wont even try to make it in life. with these bailouts thats just what theyre doing. all thses extra taxes just to pay big business men and selfish union workers

bailouts

the government intends to to pay over 700 billion to failing mortgages. this action has already brought up the economy and increased the price of stocks on wall street. it really seems like a blessing doesnt it. oh but guess what. with this act now the tax payers will be cleaning up more of bushes crap for generations. even though we already haveto pay a huge deficit now we can add on another $700 billion. kudos bush, you continue to destroy us right to the end. i understand that the end, even though i will be dead long before, justifies the means. but we cant handle this at the moment. its already hard to get jobs or find a decent home. it really doesnt help that businesses are hiring younger people to get out of paying more to employees. this is all pulling in younger generations that dont know what they have to do just by having this job. where does this leave the rest of us? we get our lives ruined and haveto live in the streets.

up at the crack of dawn

Not entirely sure why but here i am. at the moment it is 7:44 A.M. Its one of those days where im wide awake early and i have nothing to do but think. My first thought was that... ok like 5th thought..anyway, was I have started to wander and add other blogs to follow other than my classmates so i should maybe describe that im in a web design class and up until now all of my blogs have been rants about various topics given to me by a teacher. So now that thats done you can see the sporadic way my mind works. my next thought, while still keeping on minor topic, was that i should be marking down some of the more interesting recipes in my blog so others can try them. I suppose i could take requests and find a recipe for people too. Another thought, what is the weather going to be like today. I would really like to play tennis. I also wonder when theyre going to put some matches on cable. I cant watch any pro matches because they only cover them on the tennis channel. Another random thought. If i had cleaned out my coffee pot i could be drinking coffee right now. I should really clean my room its getting messy. Well you get the idea. a lot of random stuff and of course this wasnt everything.

my weekend

This weekend was very eventful. It started with a packed friday. After a long day at school i spent most of my afternoon trying to find money for the night. After i few hours i had made about $30. More than i thought i would get. I hurried to the football game to freeze while i waited for the band to finish. More waiting for jake than the whole band. after putting everything away we headed to marquette for a night of "fun". First off was applebees. We spent a good time humiliating matta and messing with the waitress. Gotta say, birthdays are fun at applebees. After leaving a nice tip and alans number we went to the casino. A quick registration to the double eagle and we hit the machines. My first couple spins were great. First spin i got around 260 credits. Second spin almost 400. If my whole night whent this way i would have been rich. Sadly it didnt. After that i started losing hard core. To add to the sting after i was done with a machine jake, alan, or champs would take it and win big. Just my luck. I ended up leaving $20 down. i later spent the night with tyler and john. click tylers to see wht happened
My friday was just as annoying. I managed to hear wrong about the time for the tennis tournament this weekend so i was up at 7:30. After waiting for everyone to wake up i finally found out the real time was at noon. Pretty bad mix up right? anyway, the tournament. coed doubles with me and larissa as a team. We failed worse than i did the night before at the casino. By the end our wins were 1-5. Obviously me and lirissa are not a good team. Even though we lost at the end i got to take all the good balls so at least i got something. The day went by slow with nothing going on. By night i was just getting a small workout and watching a few fights, rampage vs. griffin, Ending my night by finally seeing griffin take the title.
Sunday mainly consisted of some light cooking and sitting on my butt all day. Thus ending my exciting weekend

AH, the candidates

Presidancy 08 has become a most historical time for the united states. With Obama still in the race this could be the first time for an african american president. Although thats a big even is he really the right man for the presidancy. His views on the war could completely undo all that our citizens have sacraficed for all these years. I personally share his views on stem cell research. Our nation could greatly benifit but so many people still oppose it. not to mention his views on abortion are the same as most moral peoples. Mccain on the other hand has completely opposite views as Obama taking on the exact same path as president Bush. If people are so tired of Bushs
views and actions then why is such a majority of the nation trying to vote someone in whos going to be the same. i guess thats for the nation to decide

hurricanes

A tremendous force of nature. Easily tears through the land destroying building and ripping trees out of the ground like they were potted plants. What once was full of old memories built over a lifetime is now a pile of rubble. Thousands of People experienced this disaster just this weekend. homes, valuables, theyre former lives are all gone in an instant. Of course theres no possible way to know how one feels in this situation unless you lived it. The idea of the pain they feel is always there, fully captured by news teams out to get a good story. Try living it before you take advantage for youre own gains. To most this is just something that happened. I know cause honestly thats how it is to me. i havent had to live through this so i dont know the feeling or sorrow. The big point is i havent done anything to gain from theyre loss.

why homecoming is important to me

Home coming week to me as a senior is the most important time in my highschool years. We get to celebrate 11 years of our schooling being put behind us. We express the pride that has grown in us slowly as we partook in various groups to find where each person fit as a Hematite. It may be the first weeks of the year but its our last first week showing our support. After kicking off the year with some fun and games we already become acustome to delving back into our work full force. Even if only for the quarter. Homecoming is the way to get everyone close together again and make the whole school work together in showing just who we are.

a slow weekend

I had a fairly boring weekend these past few days. Nothing much really going on, nowhere to really go. A lot of last minute plans were made. Friday for example. I come home after a long day of classes and just fall asleep. Not more than an hour after i wake up from that I have a friend asking me to go to the football game. being the guy that I am I could'nt just tell her no. So we hang out at the game for a few hours and it's decided that im goona go to the dance as well. Yea, not a dancer myself but I do enjoy the company of a few good friends.

Saturday was just as irksome. Nothing happens until at the last minute and of course, im asked to do something. Obviously i dont mind at all. After all, i had absolutely nothing to do up until that point. I spent my night around a fire cooking various foods and talking with the crowd. The same way for Sunday. Unfortunately nothing interesting happened by the end of the day

If I Was President

If i was president I would strive to legalize stem cell research. We already know in the scientific community that this research could save millions of lives. Different cancers or other deadly diseases could completely avoided. Not to mention, these feti have already lost theyre lives. They could at least be used to further existing human lives.
I couldnt really tell you what i would do about topics on the war or oil crisis. Mostly because i wouldnt haveto contend with it myself it has never crossed my mind.
